A paraglider was taken to hospital after losing control and colliding with the roof of a hotel at Lough Erne Resort in County Fermanagh. Witnesses reported the paraglider flying extremely low before striking part of the building, prompting an immediate emergency response. Authorities temporarily closed sections of the hotel while safety inspections were conducted. The individual involved was transported to South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen.

Wing began oscillating to the right. Pilot applied significant power in an attempt to recover, but the power application likely contributed to the right turn due to torque effect. The oscillations went out of control leading to collision with the hotel roof.
