Pilot waiting for takeoff was struck by another pilot attempting takeoff who lost directional control due to loose harness causing paramotor to twist severely to the right, resulting in unintended left turn back across flight line

While waiting to take off at the Holland Beach Run fly-in, another PPG pilot attempting takeoff collided with the reporting pilot. The other pilot was airborne by about a foot but was having difficulty steering. While applying full throttle, his harness was too loose and the paramotor was twisted severely to the right side of his body. This put him in a left turn that brought him back across the flight line and into the reporting pilot and one additional flyer. His cage struck the reporting pilot's helmet leaving a dent. No damage to the reporting pilot's aircraft occurred and he had a successful flight after the incident.

While waiting to take off at the Holland Beach Run fly-in another ppg pilot attempting a take off collided with me. He was airborne by a foot or so but was having difficulty steering. while applying full throttle he had put himself in a left turn primarily because his harness was too loose and the paramotor was twisted severely to the right side of his body. This brought him back across the flight line and into me and one additional flyer. His cage struck my helmet leaving a dent....glad I was wearing it...the event is recorded on youtube under "near fatal PPG crash" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82lWT3GJNHg&feature=plcp&context=C36065e2UDOEgsToPDskI6JvlwwWKVp5Vlzu5Ui9eN fortunately there was no damage to my aircraft and after re-setting I had a wonderful flight..
