Hardware failure
Maximum — exactly determined
Just after take off I had just let up from using small amount of brakes like usual for lift/take off and went to turn to the left to avoid tennis court/forest in front of me when my engine cut off completely leading to parachutal stall and hard landing
The engine failure was caused by the cutoff button being pressed against my riser when I went to turn. I have since made a modification to my off-grid aviator throttle to add a guard cup to the engine stop button to prevent accidental activation in the future

One of my legs ended up scraped up as it went under my rig after the hard landing but walked away without major injuries

I was incredibly lucky with this incident and could have been way worst as I could have landed/impaled on a fence. I also would have landed significantly harder most likely breaking something if I had not trained so much learning how to "flap my wing" by pulling hard on my breaks a couple times before impact. I had also had this engine cutoff happen once before when I was flying at the beach but I was high enough to restart and never figured out what caused it till this incident
